LITTLE Z’S KIDZ DAYZ AND NIGHTZ ARE HERE!!!!!!!!!

I cannot believe they would let a child tell you about this xciting stuff happening at the hotel for kidz; but they are WWWWWWOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW!!!!!!!

For those of you out there who do not know me I am LITTLE Z the head child around the Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort. Parents are knot the only ones who get to have fun around here. Us children have some xciting new activitez in the hotel all summer long.

We have Kidz activities that take place every day out on the beach area when the sun is shining and indoorz when it is raining (BOO-HOO). These activitez range from arts and crafts (sand art, bead art, tie dye t-shirts—-MY FAV!!!, make your own treazure boxes, picture frame or sun catchers).

We have many games too such as volley ball, wally ball (whatever that is- hey i am just a kid), dodgeball (yee-haw), candy bar bingo (def a keeper yummy), water balloons, baseball, canoe races, soda bottle fishing and many other fun stuff!

WAIT IT EVEN GETS BETTER!!!! In the evening my pal Nick has KIDZ NIGHT INN!!!!

This is run at night in the early evening and is for kidz of all ages. It includes a pizza party (yeah!!!), arts & crafts, games, prizes, movies and my totally fav thing NO PARENTSSSSS!!!!!! (YYYYEAAAHHH)

I am so excited that I cannot wait to enjoy all this fun in the hotel with all my friends and hopefully some new ones. So, everyone please stop by the hotel and join in the kidz excitement. Well, gotta be getting to bed, my mother is telling me its time! HUH, parents what are you going to do with them. Well, we kidz now have some fun to look forward to.

THE NEW HOT TUB IS FINALLY INSTALLED AND SOOTHING THOSE ACHING MUSCLES

Hello everyone this is MR FIX-IT coming from the site of the new hot tub in the indoor pool area. It took a few weeks but the new hot tub is operational and up and running full power. Thanks to some ingenuity and manual labor we now at the Golden Arrow have two hot tubs in the indoor pool area.

The new hot tub is larger and can sit even more people after a long day of activites or sports functions. Here are some of the sample pics of this new feature that has been added to this ever changing and growing resort.

We are very excited about this new feature and cannot wait for all of our guests to enjoy this larger hot tub. I know that I am so thrilled that its time for me to slip into some shorts and relax my sore aching muscles from all this labor.

CARS CARS CARS AND MORE CARS

Well, it is that time of the year again, which means it is time for the annual LAKE PLACID FESTIVAL OF CARS. This is a car show that brings people all over the Northeast with their antique and all different styles of vechicles over the ages. There is an indoor/oudoor show, auction, swap meet, collector cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats and sport carts.

So, as any car enthusiast would know it is definetly a day of excitement and time to show off your flashy souped up engine and set of wheels. Where does all this take place? Well, right downtown in Lake Placid at the Olympic Center. The show takes place Saturday May 19th from 10am-7pm with an auction from 2-7pm, and then again on Sunday May 20th from 10am-3pm. WOW!!! WHO WOULD EVER THINK THAT YOU WOULD SEE THE DRIBBLING OF A BASKETBALL IN LAKE PLACID!!!

Hey everyone this is Rich your Golden Arrow Sportscaster here, saying yes it is true. Lake Placid is hosting this Saturday May 12th and Sunday May 13th the LAKE PLACID PRIMETIME CHALLENGE. This girls’ AAU basketball event will host teams from throughout the Northeast United States and Canada. Teams are organized by age groups from 12-17. Games will be held at the OTC, Lake Placid High School, and Saranac Lake schools.

This is sure going to be an exciting event for any basketball fans of all ages. And it could not be a better time as the weather in Lake Placid this week has been phenomenal. The weather today alone reached in the 80’s and there seems to be no sign of good weather stopping.

EXPANSION!!!!! EXPANSION!!!! EXPANSION!!!!!

THis is MR. FIX-ITcoming to you from the site of our newest and exciting project at the Golden Arrow Hotel. We have recently tore down the building where the Black Bear Restaurant used to be and are in the process of expanding. The crew and I have been hard at work tearing down walls in our two lower parking garages underneath the establishment. You can take it from me what a month it has been but everything is running smoothly.

We are expanding out our two lower parking garages A and B lots; to allow for more parking spaces underneath. As well, in the next several months we will be expanding our hotel and adding more rooms to service even more guests in the Lake Placid area. It is a long and exhausting job (and believe me I have the callouses to prove it) but when it is all said and done, there will be even more exciting and luxurious rooms for you to choose from.
