CRAFTS!!!! GADGETS!!!! BOBBLES!!!! TRINKETS!!!!!

That is right the THE 3RD ANNUAL CRAFT FAIR for the Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort is slowly approaching. Yes, we do more than reserve and sell hotel rooms, we also have a wonderful and exciting Craft Fair every year. This exciting event will be held in the Four Seasons Meeting Room of the resort at December 2nd, 2007 from 9am to 5pm.

Amanda who is the organizer of this great event is always looking for more vendors and people to sell their interesting merchandise. The table space is $30.00 fee per table and she needs to have vendors registered by Novmeber 18th, 2007. So for any interested entrupenuers please give Amanda a call at 518-523-3353 extenstion 620 and get her your information.

RESORT EXPANSION AND NOW MAJOR POOL RENOVATIONS!!!!

So, many projects and so so so little time, MR. FIX-IT is starting to get callouses on top of his callouses. They got me so busy around this ever changing resort that I do not know where to start and finish. Of course, I love all this exciting work because this guy gets to show off his great talent and expertise. Hopefully, I will finally get that recognition I pat myself on the back for everyday (lol). Anyway, enough about ME ME ME!

The exterior of the expansion project is pretty much finished and the roof is finally taking shape. I was just swinging from the rafters earlier (shhh! do not tell anyone I told you that). Here are a few snapshots of the progress that we have made since the last pictures I shared with all of you:

As, you can see me and the crew have been working long and strenuous hours to get the exterior finished. I also, wanted to let you all know that since the beginning of September and part of October, we are renovating the indoor pool area. We are going to be putting some new tile work throughout the whole pool and deck areas. Going to be a refreshing addition to the new jacuzzi that was installed. (I can not wait to be able to finally soak my tired and bruised feet.)

As, you can see we have a lot more work to do on the indoor pool area but figured you might be interested in this project as well. I will bring you exciting new pictures of the pool area when this is finished. WELL WELL WELL its time for MR. FIX-IT to get back to work or these projects will never get finished. Oh, and I almost forgot (CINDY THE E.F.Q) would have zapped me if I would have not mentioned this. Our GREEN ROOF will be installed very soon and will help provide this resort with a more Eco-Friendly outlook (more details at a later time). Bye all!

RICH YOUR NEWSCASTER coming to you live from the Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort, justing wanting to let all of you LEAF PEEPERS and CELEBRATORY OKTOBERFESTERS know that the annual WHITEFACE MOUNTAIN OKTOBERFEST is just around the corner. That is right in just a few weeks Whiteface Mountain will be celebrating its 16th Annual Oktoberfest. (Boy, am I excited lot of great ales and Bavarian Food to be had). Always one of my favorite times to celebrate.

Its also a great time to take the Scenic Gondola Ride to the top of the Summit of Little Whiteface Mountain and check out the spectacular view of the Fall Foliage and great scenery for miles and miles. But again lets not forget about the Bavarian Drinks and Food!!!! lol This Oktoberfest will have vendors, arts and crafts, ski-ride gear sale, mini-rail jam, and live entertainment (to go with the great ale and food—okay enough about that).

HEY! HEY! DONT FORGET ABOUT THE KIDS! Oh, sorry LITTLE Z that is right there is plenty to do with the little ones. You got that right, I just love the ever so popular hayride and all of the fun rides and kids games that OPTOBEFEST has to offer. “Z, I think you meant OKTOBERFEST”

What a great summer it has been but now it is time to shift gears and get ready for the warm days and crisp nights. We just had a great Wine Pairing Dinner this past week which was a huge success and my feet are still tired from all the spectacular food that we had prepared. Just wanted to let all you culinary and food lovers to not forget to stop into Charlie’s and taste one of the many delectable dishes that we have to offer in the Autumn Season!

This gal is outta here, so Rich tell Mr. Fix-It to keep up the great work on the Expansion Project and Pool Renovation (cause I got my eye on him) OHHHH LA LA!!! LOL Good night all.

No, this is not the Family Feud this is more like the WAR OF THE ROSES. Hey, everyone I have not chatted before neither have my two feuding families so let me introduce the gang! MR. NEUTRAL the one who tries to stay out of the room discussions; THE PRO FAMILY the couple who never seems to get along with their counterpart family; THE CON FAMILY who is a family of two adults and 2 children (they personally drive the Pro Family up the wall). I can never get these two families to agree on the best room in the Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort because they each have different likes and dislikes. Well, wish MR. NEUTRAL luck here as I sort this mess out (God have mercy on my soul)!

Hi, everyone Mr. And Mrs. Pro just wanted to let all you future guests know that for us we like the private cozy rooms with either a fireplace, whirlpool, tub or both in the room. We love the ECHO SUITE because it has a nice cozy king size bed with an oversized whirlpool tub right in the main room. It has a wonderful view of Mirror Lake from the sitting section or the private balcony. We just love to share our anniversary in this room because it is so romantic and love the ROMANCE PACKAGE ADD ON FOR $50. My wife cannot get enough of this romantic bungalow. (You got that right sweetheart) KISSSS!!! HUGGGG!!!

No way, THE CON FAMILY, says that if you want comfort for the entire family, you have to try the ever so spacious and luxurious MORNINGSIDE SUITE. This room is perfect for the large families looking for the space and luxury of a kitchenette. This spacious two bedroom suite has 2 separate baths so that the children may be in one and myself and the wife can use our own private bathroom. (I am sure all you families know how that is). It has two spacious rooms with a king bed in one room and two queen beds in the other with a large sitting room. It also has a kitchenette and great view of Mirror Lake. This is a families dream to have all this great space with a spectacular view. OH! I forgot to mention one of the baths has an oversized whirlpool tub to relax those weary bones.

PROS ARE RIGHT, CONS ARE WRONG, IT IS ROMANTIC SETTING WITH THE ECHO SUITE THAT WE LOVE!!!!! WRONG WRONG WRONG THE CONS ARE RIGHT, SPACIOUS FAMILY SUITES LIKE THE MORNINGSIDE IS WHAT WE CHERISH!!!

Okay, while our two families discuss which rooms they like better, I just wanna say that I am MR.
