Welcome everyone! MR. NEUTRAL coming to you from the new store that has joined our family. While MR. FIX-IT has been working hard day after day getting the new expansion project ready, he finished one of the new store fronts. This is where the exciting new storefront JUST BEAD IT run by the great and talented Stacy has opened for business. We are all very excited to have this crafty shop in the Golden Arrow family. (I am reminded of all those friendship bracelets that we used to make with beads. Boy would that be fun).

Hey, everyone it was a very short time but MR. FIX-IT is back with another update of more resort improvements. Yes, we are like busy little bees, buzzing all over making all these exciting changes. For the past few weeks I have been busy working with my crew in the lobby area of the resort. We have been scraping off the old wallpaper and adding some new and exciting shades of color to make this area feel more like home.

Since, we had decided to make these changes back almost a year ago, I have been racking my brain looking for the perfect tile to place on the tiled floor of the lobby area. We have not made this change as of this day. But, while we were in the lobby deciding on possible samples a very nice gentleman stopped by and provided some great suggestions and offered some samples of his that would be perfect for this project.

I would like to take this time to thank MICHAEL FROM ROMA TILE for sending us the samples that we needed. We have made our decision based on these samples and going with a great design for this tiled floor. (I am so greatful that Michael took the time out of his vacation to offer this great suggestion)! HATS OFF TO YOU AND KUDOS!

BUILDING BUILDING BUILDING!!!

Its been a long few months but MR FIX-IT here has finally got some long awaited update pictures of the expansion project that has been taking place. It has been long and exhausting believe me. I am tired just thinking about it but what is a man to do LOL!

The roof has been put in place and the 2 storefronts are getting their nice detailed craftsman work and should be filling in very soon. (Of course, this handy man always gets the job done lickty split at least that is the way I feel)! But enough about me and let me show you how this project has progressed.

So, how does everyone like the progress that is coming along. The two storefronts are coming along nicely (if I say so myself, boy I do such good craftsman work) and the shops will be entering there hopefully within a few months. Well, this sore and tired body has got to get some rest (YAAAWWWNNN!!) so everyone have a great evening and I will update you on the inside progress of this project in the near future.

NEW DECALS AND SPARKLING CLEAN WATER!!!

Its been a long two month project but just as I promised the indoor pool area is officially re-opened. MR. FIX-IT at the site of our exciting finished indoor pool project. After long and tiresome hours the stone floor of the pool area as well as the new decals are installed and look nice as ever. To conserve water energy for CINDY THE E.F.Q. my crew and I have installed water saving piping and pumps to the plumbing of the indoor pool. (WHEW!! I am so glad one major project is down and this boy can have a rest; Yeah right! there is still the major expansion project still continuing on). Guess, I better drink all the caffeine that this boy can get, cause sleep is never going to happen Lol!

But anyway, I am sure you all will enjoy the fresh new look of the pool area and do not forget to try out the new 12 person Hot tub that was installed. Think I might relax in that myself. I am sure the kids will love to find the swimming decal fish in the kiddie pool and pool area. Here are a few pics of this great project.

FREEZE FRAME!! ENIVORNMENTAL FRIENDLY INFO!!!

Well, howdy everyone it is me again CINDY THE E.F.Q. updating you on the new exciting recycled slate rock picture frames. For all of you future guests who will be visiting our nice clean air resort, take a gander around the hotel hallways and you might see some very interesting picture frames. Also, meet our newest Earth Friendly mascot the Green Leaf!!!

Our lovely and talented employee Veronica has spent many hours coming up with these great frames and the info that goes inside them. It tells you all the different aspects of how the resort is saving the environment and conserving energy. Of course, info on what you the guests can do to help the environment as well. (My brilliant and sometimes outstanding mind has come up with all these great ideas; of course I am pulling my own chain). But after all I am the queen and just love to make sure that the resort is up to the eco-friendly standards one step at a time.

Shortly, there will be a nice little earth friendly quiz for anyone to participate in. If you finish the quiz and answer the questions correctly, an earth friendly gift will be presented to you. GREEN GREEN GREEN! SAVING THE ENVIRONMENT ONE STEP AT A TIME!!!

Welcome everyone to the vast expanding Golden Arrow eco-friendly resort. This is CINDY THE E.F.Q. sprinkling her magic on all aspects of the resort. Popping up great efficient ways to help protect the environment and smell the fresh invigorating air. (Of course, I always make time for yours truly the queen of this resort). But, have to make sure all our guests have a refreshing experience.

Well, the newest project that we are sprucing up on (no pun intended lol). Is the Green Roof Project that is coming very soon by spring of next year. Now I know that we were supposed to be done this project in the fall but we wanted to make sure that the vegetation for this roof was just right. We are letting it grow more in a warmer climate through the winter season so that it can take shape and be perfect for when we put it on in the spring. Now for all of you who do not know what this provides. It is an energy efficient idea that during the summer holds the coolness in and during the winter is a great insulator to keep the heat in. Making sure that you use less electricity to conserve energy. One last thing, better not forget this or the gods that be will strike me down. One of our great people in the resort has been working on some nice Recycled Slate picture frames that will be hanging through out the resort. These will state the different efforts that myself and everyone here are doing to have the environment. SO, CHECK THEM OUT!!!!

RESORT EXPANSION AND NOW MAJOR POOL RENOVATIONS!!!!

So, many projects and so so so little time, MR. FIX-IT is starting to get callouses on top of his callouses. They got me so busy around this ever changing resort that I do not know where to start and finish. Of course, I love all this exciting work because this guy gets to show off his great talent and expertise. Hopefully, I will finally get that recognition I pat myself on the back for everyday (lol). Anyway, enough about ME ME ME!

The exterior of the expansion project is pretty much finished and the roof is finally taking shape. I was just swinging from the rafters earlier (shhh! do not tell anyone I told you that). Here are a few snapshots of the progress that we have made since the last pictures I shared with all of you:

As, you can see me and the crew have been working long and strenuous hours to get the exterior finished. I also, wanted to let you all know that since the beginning of September and part of October, we are renovating the indoor pool area. We are going to be putting some new tile work throughout the whole pool and deck areas. Going to be a refreshing addition to the new jacuzzi that was installed. (I can not wait to be able to finally soak my tired and bruised feet.)

As, you can see we have a lot more work to do on the indoor pool area but figured you might be interested in this project as well. I will bring you exciting new pictures of the pool area when this is finished. WELL WELL WELL its time for MR. FIX-IT to get back to work or these projects will never get finished. Oh, and I almost forgot (CINDY THE E.F.Q) would have zapped me if I would have not mentioned this. Our GREEN ROOF will be installed very soon and will help provide this resort with a more Eco-Friendly outlook (more details at a later time). Bye all!

AND THE EXPANSION CONTINUES! WE ARE MOVING ON UP!

Been a while but MR. FIX-IT standing on the new site of our expansion project that has been taking shape right in front of my very eyes. I have been cracking the whip and grinding the stone to bring this project to life. (of course I cannot take all the credit…..yeah i can LOL). This project has taken a whole new shape over the past month and I am here to bring you the exciting new pics of the progress that the crew and I have made.

Pretty exciting project going on and quite the change from the last time that I showed you pics. Hopefully the next time I chat there will be some inside photo shots. Who knows with this project moving so smoothly I might even get a chance to relax and enjoy a cocktail but I doubt that.

HAMMER!!! HAMMER!!!! EXPANSION PICS!!!!! HAMMER!!!! HAMMER!!!!

HELLO EVERYONE! Its Mr. Fix-It again coming to you from the site of our exciting new expansion project. I and the rest of the crew have banging away and reconstructing a brand new section of the hotel and expanding our underground parking garages. Boy, what long days this has been, I am so tired I dont even have time to rest. Believe me Mr. Fix-It is putting in some long hours, but its all worth it.

As promised I have taken shots of the new expansion and I personally will keep you updated with new pics and how progress is going on this big endeavor. Here are a few shots of the site now:

As, you can see there is a lot of work to be done, and believe me it will be done. I cannot wait to see how this all turns out, it will be a long process but it will be totally worth it in the end. Well, I need to jet, stupid me just banged my foot against a steel rod again (OUCH!!!).

THE NEW HOT TUB IS FINALLY INSTALLED AND SOOTHING THOSE ACHING MUSCLES

Hello everyone this is MR FIX-IT coming from the site of the new hot tub in the indoor pool area. It took a few weeks but the new hot tub is operational and up and running full power. Thanks to some ingenuity and manual labor we now at the Golden Arrow have two hot tubs in the indoor pool area.

The new hot tub is larger and can sit even more people after a long day of activites or sports functions. Here are some of the sample pics of this new feature that has been added to this ever changing and growing resort.

We are very excited about this new feature and cannot wait for all of our guests to enjoy this larger hot tub. I know that I am so thrilled that its time for me to slip into some shorts and relax my sore aching muscles from all this labor.
