AND THE EXPANSION CONTINUES! WE ARE MOVING ON UP!

Been a while but MR. FIX-IT standing on the new site of our expansion project that has been taking shape right in front of my very eyes. I have been cracking the whip and grinding the stone to bring this project to life. (of course I cannot take all the credit…..yeah i can LOL). This project has taken a whole new shape over the past month and I am here to bring you the exciting new pics of the progress that the crew and I have made.

Pretty exciting project going on and quite the change from the last time that I showed you pics. Hopefully the next time I chat there will be some inside photo shots. Who knows with this project moving so smoothly I might even get a chance to relax and enjoy a cocktail but I doubt that.

HAMMER!!! HAMMER!!!! EXPANSION PICS!!!!! HAMMER!!!! HAMMER!!!!

HELLO EVERYONE! Its Mr. Fix-It again coming to you from the site of our exciting new expansion project. I and the rest of the crew have banging away and reconstructing a brand new section of the hotel and expanding our underground parking garages. Boy, what long days this has been, I am so tired I dont even have time to rest. Believe me Mr. Fix-It is putting in some long hours, but its all worth it.

As promised I have taken shots of the new expansion and I personally will keep you updated with new pics and how progress is going on this big endeavor. Here are a few shots of the site now:

As, you can see there is a lot of work to be done, and believe me it will be done. I cannot wait to see how this all turns out, it will be a long process but it will be totally worth it in the end. Well, I need to jet, stupid me just banged my foot against a steel rod again (OUCH!!!).

THE NEW HOT TUB IS FINALLY INSTALLED AND SOOTHING THOSE ACHING MUSCLES

Hello everyone this is MR FIX-IT coming from the site of the new hot tub in the indoor pool area. It took a few weeks but the new hot tub is operational and up and running full power. Thanks to some ingenuity and manual labor we now at the Golden Arrow have two hot tubs in the indoor pool area.

The new hot tub is larger and can sit even more people after a long day of activites or sports functions. Here are some of the sample pics of this new feature that has been added to this ever changing and growing resort.

We are very excited about this new feature and cannot wait for all of our guests to enjoy this larger hot tub. I know that I am so thrilled that its time for me to slip into some shorts and relax my sore aching muscles from all this labor.

EXPANSION!!!!! EXPANSION!!!! EXPANSION!!!!!

THis is MR. FIX-ITcoming to you from the site of our newest and exciting project at the Golden Arrow Hotel. We have recently tore down the building where the Black Bear Restaurant used to be and are in the process of expanding. The crew and I have been hard at work tearing down walls in our two lower parking garages underneath the establishment. You can take it from me what a month it has been but everything is running smoothly.

We are expanding out our two lower parking garages A and B lots; to allow for more parking spaces underneath. As well, in the next several months we will be expanding our hotel and adding more rooms to service even more guests in the Lake Placid area. It is a long and exhausting job (and believe me I have the callouses to prove it) but when it is all said and done, there will be even more exciting and luxurious rooms for you to choose from.

WOW! HAVE I MR. FIX-IT HAVE SOME EXCITING NEWS FOR ALL YOU AVID TRAVELERS.
In case all of you readers are not familiar with Mr. Fix-It, I am the person who does all the new and exciting improvements to the Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort. Yeah, when I am not relaxing in one of the cozy comfortable fireplace or whirlpool tub rooms (shhhhh!! Dont tell anyone); I am working on improving the accommodations and construction around the property.

In case, you have not realised it yet, we have improved a whole wing of our resort for allergen free rooms. These rooms are located on the north wing 1st floor of the resort. They have beach access right out the patio doors and are situated in a very comfortable location.

Each room has bamboo wood floors (which works with both our allergen free and our environmental initiatives because bamboo is a renewable resource), a high efficiency Hepasilent air filters, dust mite covers on the beds and pillows, hypo-allergenic linens, & chlorine filters on the showerheads. The cleaning products are all natural ingredients such as baking soda & vinegar. Curtains have been replaced with blinds & we purchased leather furniture to reduce the dust buildup.
Every guest room comes equipped with the items we thought you would need to make you feel at home, such as a refrigerator, coffee maker, coffee mugs, iron & board, hairdryer, & internet access.

I have worked long extrenuous hours on these rooms and I am very sure that for anyone who has allergies that these will be the perfect rooms for you to enjoy. It took me a while and many nailed fingers later (ouch), but these rooms are ready for you to enjoy.
